Some colors may require more than one coat for complete coverage.

In terms of surface preparation, it is essential to remove all loose paint and clean the surface with detergent to eliminate dirt, grease, and other contaminants. Make sure to rinse well to remove any soap residue and allow the surface to dry. Scuff sand any glossy surfaces and repair imperfections. New plaster should be properly cured, cracks and holes patched, sanded smooth, and primed before applying this paint. New woods may require an oil-based primer/sealer, while proper rust primer should be used on metal surfaces.

When it comes to application, it is recommended to stir or mix the paint before use and intermix all containers for color uniformity. Apply the paint with a high-quality applicator such as a 3/8-inch nap roller cover, brush, or pad painter. Thin sparingly with water if necessary for spraying. The average coverage is 250-400 sq. ft. (37 square meters) per gallon (3.78 L). The paint dries in one hour and can be recoated, if necessary, after four hours.

Cleanup is easy with warm water and soap. A semi-gloss finish is more reflective than satin but not as shiny as gloss. It brightens up a room's appearance and is ideal for high humidity areas like bathrooms and kitchens. While easy to clean, it may show imperfections on walls or ceilings.
